For better and worse (mostly better, if you ask me) Ghost Trick is the kind of game that you'll play once and remember for a long while after, but feel little need to revisit. This is increasingly rare in a time when multiplayer, DLC, "content roadmaps" and the trappings of endless "value" affect even the most stalwart single-player experiences. Even Capcom made some gestures towards adding more content to this remaster, with a selection of sliding tile "Ghost Puzzles" that are really only there to give you something to do when you've cleared the last stage. There are also some optional "challenges" to earn tied to achievements and trophies, but the ones I unlocked pretty much just amount to "do this stage again and don't make any mistakes".
Then again, though some players might be turned off by its one-and-done nature, I would prefer to describe Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective as "singular". It's an experience that, once cleared, feels complete from any angle, with nothing needing to be added or cut to be unforgettable.

Conclusiones
Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective es una buena puesta al día de todo un clasicazo de Nintendo DS que cualquier amante de las buenas historias de misterio y de los puzles debería probar. Un título muy fresco que hace gala de unos rompecabezas variados y divertidos, de un guion repleto de grandes giros y con un ritmo muy bien medido, con unos personajes inolvidables y con un apartado audiovisual muy atractivo.
Quizá a nivel de contenidos y novedades esta remasterización se limita a lo justo y necesario para que jugarlo a día de hoy en las plataformas actuales sea una experiencia satisfactoria y cómoda, lo que no quita el enorme valor que tiene este relanzamiento al facilitar su acceso a cualquiera que esté interesado en comprobar de primera mano por qué se considera a esta obra de Shu Takumi todo un juego de culto. Sin duda, una merecidísima segunda oportunidad que esperamos que sirva para que muchos de vosotros descubráis una joya que difícilmente olvidaréis.

A nivel audiovisual sigue siendo muy atractivo y desprende personalidad.

La dificultad es algo baja.
El equilibrio entre momentos narrativos y jugables se rompe ligeramente en la recta final.
Los extras y novedades no son demasiado estimulantes si ya lo jugasteis en Nintendo DS o iOS.

Entonces, ¿estamos ante la versión definitiva de Ghost Trick: Detective Fantasma? No me atrevería a decirlo porque algunos elementos de la conversión todavía cantan (si bien aquellas magníficas animaciones se ven ahora aún más finas), pero sí es la mejor versión hasta la fecha de lo que sin duda ya es un clásico de las aventuras gráficas.

La historia y sus giros siguen siendo magistrales 13 años después.
También mantiene el carisma y mecánicas de puzles originales.

All in all, Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective is a fine remaster of a wonderful title far too many people missed out on. Shu Takumi has stated another entry in this franchise might happen if this game sells well enough, but I feel like that’s a statement we’ve heard dozens of times over the past 10 years with little of anything to show for it. Whether or not we get another game in the series doesn’t really matter to me. What matters is more people now have an opportunity to play an absolute gem of an adventure game.

Ghost Trick: Detective Fantasma recibe una remasterización un tanto pobre en Switch, PS4, Xbox y PC, pero suficiente para redescubrir una joya casi olvidada del creador de Ace Attorney. Su forma de presentar y resolver los puzles es única en su especie, y la historia es apasionante e inolvidable. ¡Larga vida a Sissel!
LO MEJOR:
Los puzles son muy originales. Los personajes inolvidables y el guion tiene tantos giros que resulta casi extenuante, pero no defrauda. Missile.
LO PEOR:
Echamos de menos más experimentación y libertad para resolver los puzles. Gráficamente con pocos cambios, y a 4:3. Novedades muy justitas.

Como la versión original, este Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective Remastered viene traducido al castellano, y la localización hace un trabajo excelente en adaptar el texto en inglés en el que parece haberse basado con, quizás, la excepción de un par de pequeños chistes. Pero, en general, el título es una oportunidad excelente de aproximarse a una obra desconocida por muchos, pero que sabe ganarse nuestro corazón en sus apenas diez horas de duración con su carisma, personajes extravagantes, historias enrevesadas, efectos en cadena y ternura a la hora de abordar los temas difíciles. Las nuevas versiones de los temas musicales originales son, también, extraordinarias. ¡Ah! Y tiene al perrito Missile, el mejor perro de la historia de los videojuegos.
