Yeah, it´s going to be hell learning English here due to all the clowns saying stupid shit because they think being openly moronic is the height of humor. You want to learn English, you can do better than this place.
Personally, I´d say I learned a lot from narrative roleplaying sites. Places like rpnation, where people roleplay without rolling dice. There is nothing wrong with rolling some dice, of course, but I´m not big on memorizing rules I may never end up using.
In broad terms, though, my recommendation is to simply find something you like, which you just happen to consume in English. Be it movies, TV shows, comics, manga, anime, videogames, roleplaying, discussing any topic on Internet forums or image boards like 4chan, etc. One of the main issues when it comes to learning anything is motivation, and you will not find that in this community of immature tards.
